Texas Wilcox Project

Our Oakcrest Project and the Oakcrest North Prospect are located in south central Texas, approximately 75 miles southwest of Houston, Texas.   We hold oil and gas lease interests in approximately 866 acres associated with its Oakcrest Project with a working interest of 95.75%.  The main target of hydrocarbon production is the Wilcox formation, with the Frio formation slated as a secondary target.  The Project is adjacent to and lies immediately to the north north-east of the Southwest Bonus Field.  The Southwest Bonus Field is comprised of approximately 44 Wilcox producing wells.  The Southwest Bonus Field has produced over 96 billion cubic feet of natural gas and 2.8 million barrels of oil equivalent.   The Oakcrest North Prospect lies immediately north of our current oil and gas lease interests in Wharton County, Texas.

Individual wells depths are approximately 11,500 feet, and proved undeveloped, probable and possible reserves have been assigned by the Company’s independent petroleum engineer to Gulf Western’s lease interests.   Estimated gross and net recoverable natural gas reserves per well are 2.68 billion cubic feet and 1.82 billion cubic feet, respectively.  Estimated net recoverable condensate reserves per well are approximately 48,800 barrels.

Total proved, probable and possible natural gas reserve potential for the Oakcrest Project is approximately 30.9 billion cubic feet and 830,000 barrels condensate net.   The initial assessments of the Oakcrest North Prospect indicate that its reserve potential will be as productive as our expectations for the Oakcrest Project.
